David Fixler Project Designer
David Fixler, AIA, FAIA, LEED® AP, a Principal at EYP, has over 28 years of experience in the design of major renovation and restoration projects. He has guided the restoration and renovation of significant projects from the 18th through the 20th centuries and has worked on a broad variety of both new and existing academic buildings. As Project Designer, David has overseen the design of the renovation and addition to James Hall. Specifically for this project, David has appreciated the past by respecting and nurturing the design of Eric Huddleston while integrating 21st century modern features into a state-of-the-art interdisciplinary science facility. A frequent teacher, writer, and lecturer on architectural history, preservation, and design, David has had his work published internationally and has helped to organize numerous conferences on a wide range of architecture and preservation topics. He is active in a variety of professional organizations, including serving as United States Representative on the DOCOMOMO International Specialty Committee for Registers (ISCR), and is the president of DOCOMOMO-US/New England. Fixler’s impressive portfolio includes projects for a variety of clients, including Harvard University, the University of Iowa, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Yale University, and Wellesley College.
Tyson Curcio Project Director
Tyson Curcio, LEED® AP, a Principal at EYP, has nearly 10 years of experience in the project management, programming, design and construction administration of College and University buildings. Tyson is the day-to-day contact for James Hall and oversees coordination between all disciplines and consultants, including management of project schedules, budget, and communications. He has particular expertise in undergraduate teaching and research laboratories, classrooms, faculty offices, and social interaction spaces. In addition to UNH, Tyson's previous experience includes the Unified Science Center at Hamilton College, the Science Building at Washington & Jefferson College, and the Science & Technology Building at Assumption College.
Peter Miner Project Architect
Peter Miner, AIA, a Senior Architect at EYP, has over 30 years of experience in the programming and design of College and University, Education, Government, and Commercial buildings. As Project Architect, Peter will work closely with Tyson to facilitate the design, and construction process. A member of the American Institute of Architects and the Boston Society of Architects, Peter’s portfolio includes projects for many College & University clients, including the University of Connecticut, Tufts University, Harvard University, and Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
Michelle Weidler Intern Architect
Michelle Weidler, an Architectural Designer at EYP, has 4 years of experience in the design of educational facilities. As an Intern Architect, Michelle will work closely with Peter and Tyson to facilitate the construction process. In addition to her involvement with the James Hall project, Michele’s portfolio includes work on Taunton High School located in Taunton MA, & Bennet Middle School in Manchester CT.
